Living Out Our Values

Greek Week is full of events that bring the community together and further out commitment to embodying our values of service, scholarship, leadership, sisterhood and brotherhood.

Leadership

Greek Week is an event led by 30 student leaders dedicated to giving back. These leaders organize, promote and engage thousands of fraternity/sorority members and the greater Columbia community.

Scholarship

Greek Week is also dedicated to setting members up for success. Academic scholarships are available for fraternity/sorority members who represent outstanding leadership and engagement within the community. This past year, 5 $1,000 scholarships were presented to AJ Thompson, Evan Gresham, Morgan Slagle, Riley Palshaw and Sydney Zoeller.

Service

From food drives to a sensory friendly carnival to one of the largest student-run blood drives in the nation, fraternity and sorority members lead the way in service by dedicating thousands of hours and over $200,000 for charity.

Brotherhood & Sisterhood

High-energy dance performances, sporting events and friendly competition bring the fraternity/sorority community for the greater good during Greek Week. Members also participate in royalty competition and the end of the week concludes with crowning Greek Week King and Queen.
